Dining

The Weinberg Residence offers three kosher meals served daily in our elegant Dining Room. You can savour foods like blintzes, borscht, gefilte fish and brisket.

A weekly menu features two entrée options at both lunch and dinner and meals may be customized to suite individual dietary needs.

Afternoon tea is served daily with coffee/tea and snacks.

On Jewish holidays, special menus and meals are prepared to honour each occasion.

Private Dining Room
For 6 guests or more you can reserve the Private Dining Room for any special events. A server will be provided for your party and we can assist with any special catering.

Housekeeping
In an Assisted Living suite at Weinberg we are pleased to offer weekly housekeeping and maintenance services.

Weekly housekeeping services include:
• Vacuuming and dusting
• Cleaning of the kitchenette
• Complete cleaning of the bathroom
• Washing of bed linen and towels and bed making
• Garbage removal

Additional housekeeping and laundry services may be purchased for a fee.

Activities
Each day at the Weinberg Residence social, cultural and recreational services are provided.

Recreation and leisure experiences are integral parts of every individual’s life. Our diverse array of programs offers the opportunity to enjoy activities that contribute to a better quality of life – physically, mentally and socially.

Emergency Response
To ensure the safety of each resident, the Weinberg Residence provides a 24-hour emergency response PAL system. When the PAL button is pressed the nursing staff will respond immediately.

Personal assistance
Included in the monthly rent is help with personal assistance when and if it is needed. Assisted Living provides personal service plans that meet individual needs with assistance in daily living. Services range from light support to daily care assistance with bathing, dressing and medications.
